Fundraiser held for New Square arson victim

Friends of Aron Rotenberg held a fundraiser today to help pay for his mounting medical bills after he suffered burns on more than 50 percent of his body.

Police say Rotenburg was injured last week when Shaul Spitzer tried to burn Rotenberg's home down after the two had a religious dispute over what temple he prayed at.

Some community members say Grand Rabbi David Twersky, the leader of the main temple in New Square, could be behind the attack. Police say there is no evidence to support those allegations.
