3 accused of exposing 6 children to PCP claim innocence

Three people accused of exposing six children to the drug PCP in Yonkers Friday evening are refuting the allegations and insisting they are innocent.

Police say an aunt, 20-year-old Koby Maldonado, and an uncle, 21-year-old Reiluis Medina, as well as 19-year-old Aurek Gonzalez, of Pineville, N.C., allowed three of the children in their care to be exposed to PCP.

The attorney for Medina, Majed Annabi, says three of the children at the apartment were theirs and tested clean for illicit drugs. He says the couple consented to a blood test and it came back clean.

The three children who did test positive, according to the police, were the children of Medina's brother. According to Annabi, that suggests their mother may have been the one who exposed them to the drug.

Police say all six children were treated at hospitals and one child remains in stable condition.
