Metro-North Railroad worker hit by train

A Metro-North Railroad employee was trapped underneath a train after being struck by it at around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The man, who was working in the rail yard at the Croton-Harmon Station on the Hudson line, was rescued by emergency personnel and airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.

Officials have not released the man's condition.

The incident did not cause any delays on the Metro-North Railroad.
