Still no verdict in Yonkers teacher's sex-abuse trial

Jurors in the sex-abuse case of a Yonkers teacher continued deliberating his fate today with still no verdict in sight.

Dean Martin, a computer teacher at Saunders High School, is accused of sexually abusing three male students, as well as changing the boys' grades and attendance records to keep them quiet.

The defense, however, maintains that the three teens made the whole thing up after they got caught changing their own records using Martin's stolen password.

This morning, the judge dismissed one of the alternate jurors.

A total of three alternate jurors have now been dismissed, leaving only one alternate in the case. If one more alternate and one regular juror get dismissed, the judge may have to call for a new trial.
