Police: Medical issue sets off accidents in Tarrytown

Tarrytown police say a chain reaction of events caused a serious accident on Route 9 yesterday.

Police say a driver of an SUV suffered some kind of medical problem before he slammed into a utility pole and then that pole fell on another car.

Chief Scott Brown says EMS crews couldn't remove one of the victims from the vehicle until Con Ed killed the power to the lines that were on top of the car.

Luckily, the driver of that car was not hurt.
