State Sen. Ball: Death of GA woman who threatened him is bizarre

State Sen. Greg Ball (R-Putnam) is calling the shooting death of Jameela Barnette, the woman accused of sending a threatening package to the state senator in April, a bizarre twist in the case.
"What we had here was an actor who was totally illogical, nonsensical," said Ball on Barnette and her actions.
Authorities say Barnette had sent Ball a package with a Curious George doll wearing a Star of David and the words "Final Destination... Auschwitz."
Barnette was shot by police in Georgia who had responded to her apartment on Christmas morning. Authorities say that Barnette had attempted to attack an officer, forcing them to open fire, killing her.
Ball said that his is relieved that the officer who was attacked was not injured.
"Christmas Day could have been a lot worse for this officer and his family, thank God that's not the case," he said.
