Champs crowned at 13th Annual Slam Dunk Tournament
The finals of the 13th Annual Slam Dunk Tournament took place at the County Center in White Plains last night.
In the boys championship game, Taylor Sayer led Albertus Magnus with 26 points as the Falcons beat Byram 64-60. Sayer was named the boys tournament MVP.
In the boys consolation game, White Plains coach Spencer Mayfield picked up his 300th win as the Tigers edged Poughkeepsie 47-43.
In the girls final, Pearl River head coach Lorraine Moylan was looking for win number 501 as the Pirates took on Arlington.
Pearl River drained 10 three-pointers as they sunk the Admirals 51-39. Christa Scognamiglio earned the MVP award with 25 points.
