4 suspects accused in Cortlandt home break-in

Police have arrested four people suspected in a string of burglaries in Northern Westchester.

Police say they received a 911 call Wednesday morning about a burglary in progress at a home on Lexington Avenue in Cortlandt. Sheriffe Baker, Elmetia Gibson, Rayshawn Sharrock and Leozy Culberson, all from Westchester, were apprehended and charged with felony second-degree burglary.

Police say they recovered some electronic items that were allegedly stolen. They are also investigating whether the four suspects are responsible for other burglaries committed in the area.
