Protester with sign hangs off Tappan Zee Bridge

Chopper 12 is over the scene as a protester dangles from the Tappan Zee Bridge today with a sign.

The protester is in some type of harness started dangling from the bridge around 10:45 a.m.

The words on the sign are difficult to read, but says, "Rockland County legislator retaliation and cover up."

Emergency boats and crews are on standby, and state police negotiators are trying to get the man off the bridge.Watch News 12 Westchester LIVE
