Jury convicts Francisco Acevedo in 3 Yonkers murders

A jury has convicted 43-year-old Francisco Acevedo on all counts in the killing of three women in Yonkers over seven years.

Acevedo was found guilty in the rape and murder of Kimberly Moore, of Greenburgh, in 1996 as well as the murders of Twanda Hodges in 1991 and Maria Ramos in 1989.

Acevedo was arrested after a mandatory DNA sample linked him to the crimes two years ago.
