Teenager pinned under car in Yonkers

A teenager was rushed to the hospital yesterday after getting pinned underneath a car in downtown Yonkers.

Police say the accident happened just after 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ludlow Street and Riverdale Avenue.

They say a driver of a Toyota was trying to pass a tractor-trailer when he somehow lost control and went right through a fence before hitting the teen who was walking street.

The 17 year-old victim was brought to the hospital with serious leg injuries. There is no word yet on his condition.
