Valhalla children's hospital opens new $65M building
A new $65 million medical facility is opening at the Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla.
Officials say the hospital, which has been in existence for 120 years, is adapting to meet the needs of sick children by opening up the new building.
The new inpatient building will serve infants, toddlers and adolescents and allow parents a more comforting stay with their sick children. The 56,000-square foot building also has a dedicated traumatic brain injury unit.
