Manhunt yields results after hours-long search

Heavily armed police from Yonkers, Hastings, Dobbs Ferry and other towns were able to apprehend a burglary suspect after combing neighborhoods for hours today. Neighbors along Ronny Circle in Hastings are breathing a sigh of relief after the alleged burglar was taken into custody after hiding out for close to three hours. The burglar was first spotted behind a home on Clunie Avenue at about 10:45 a.m. when a neighbor noticed something just wasn't right and called authorities. Police then used bloodhounds to track the suspect through the woods of the Saw Mill River Parkway and along the Yonkers-Hastings border. The suspect is facing two counts of attempted burglary.
