Pepsi building in Somers evacuated after bomb scare

The Pepsi building in Somers was evacuated this afternoon after a bomb scare.

Officials say a note indicating there was a bomb in the building was found in the women's restroom at around 1 p.m.

Police evacuated the more than 1,200 employees and conducted a search of the building.

No explosives were found, according to authorities.

Officials say they will continue the investigation into who left the note, but say the facility will resume normal operations tomorrow morning.
