Cops: Woman arrested after crashing car into Montgomery home

A woman has been arrested for allegedly driving with a suspended license after she drove her SUV through a home early this morning.

The accident happened on Albany Post Road in Montgomery just before 8 a.m. According to police, the driver, Trista Santiago, was driving with a suspended license when she crashed into the home. They plan to charge her with speeding and running a red light, and they are now investigating if drugs or alcohol were also factors. Santiago was extricated by the fire department and airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, where she is being treated.

The homeowner, Susan Fodor, says no one lives there and her husband uses it for his medical supply business. She says she's relieved he decided to go into work a half hour late and wasn't there when the accident happened.
