Family mourns elderly Yonkers couple found dead in hot tub

Family and friends are in mourning today after an elderly Yonkers couple was found dead in a hot tub at their vacation home in Florida.

Pat and Mary Marino, who were married almost 60 years, owned the Marino Insurance agency in Eastchester.

The Yonkers couple had just arrived in Fort Myers last week, preparing to spend the winter.

When family members were unable to reach either Pat, or Mary, both 80 years old, they became concerned. They asked a neighbor, Karen Johnson, to check in on the couple and she found the couple dead in the hot tub.

Johnson says the Marinos were active and usually relaxed in their hot tub after a round of golf.

Investigators say they don't know how the couple died yet, but their deaths don't appear to be the result of foul play.
