16 men arrested, accused of illegal sexual activity at Saxon Woods

Dozens of men were arrested over the past few months and accused of meeting at Saxon Woods Park in White Plains for anonymous sex.

According to county police, the investigation started several months ago after they received complaints from park users about suspicious people and activities near the picnic area. Officials close to the investigation say they are hoping that the arrest of the men will serve as a deterrent to others who may be thinking of engaging in the same activity.

The men come from all over the tri-state area, including The Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and Connecticut. The 16 men who were arrested have been charged with either public lewdness or forcible touching. The crackdown has been called "Operation Overexposed" by county police.

County police say they will continue to crack down on illegal sexual activity at Saxon Woods by increasing uniformed and undercover officers on patrol.
