Police identify body of woman found floating in Hudson River

Officials have identified the body of an elderly woman found washed up on the shore of the Hudson River in Rockland County.

Police say a child saw the corpse of Joanne DeLoatch floating off of Emeline Park in Haverstraw early yesterday morning.

We're told DeLoatch, a resident of the Green Hills adult care facility in Haverstraw, was found fully clothed.

So far, police say they don't have any reason to suspect foul play. There has been no word on the cause of death or how long the body was in the water.
