Man arrested in Yonkers for skimming personal data at ATM's

Yonkers police have arrested a man who is suspected of using a skimming device to steal personal information from people at banks.

Authorities are now trying to see if he's connected to other scams at other banks in Westchester.

Police say Victor Udila used a barely visible camera to record pin codes at ATM's. They say Udila would then use a "skimmer" to get the numbers off of ATM cards.

Investigators say the devices are sophisticated and can fool anyone, even officers themselves.

Yonkers police say they arrested Udila at an ATM on Central Avenue and Roxberry Drive where he put the skimmer on the outside of a Chase Bank.ATM skimmer found at HSBC bank in RyeATM skimmer and camera found at Bronxville bank
