Police to boost presence at Saxon Woods after sex sting

Police have stepped up their presence at Saxon Woods Park in White Plains after more than a dozen men were arrested for allegedly meeting for anonymous sex. Police say most of the encounters happened in a picnic area not far from a playground, and that they caught 16 suspects, including county employee Carmelo Ciccone. They say Ciccone works for the Environmental Services Department, and has been charged with public lewdness. He has yet to be suspended. Authorities say they worked all summer to curtail illegal sexual activity at the park, naming the sting Operation Overexposed. They say some of the men are married, and all met women on explicit websites. "Anything I hear like that bothers me definitely, because I have morals and values," White Plains resident Mary Bellavia says. County police say they plan to staff the park with more uniformed and undercover officers in the coming weeks. 'Operation Overexposure' tries to clean-up Saxon Woods
