Loved ones bid farewell to Yonkers couple found dead in hot tub

Friends and family gathered this evening for the wake of a Yonkers couple found dead last week in Florida. Pat Marino, 85, and Mary Marino, 80, were found Wednesday in the hot tub of their Fort Meyers vacation home. While some family friends say they are still shocked over the Marinos' mysterious deaths, others say they are trying to find some solace. "This is the only good thing about it," friend Josephine Papp says. "That is they went together." The couple lived on DiPietro Drive for decades and ran an insurance agency in Yonkers, now located in Eastchester. The medical examiner in Florida has ruled out foul play, and says toxicology reports will be released next month. The couple will be buried Wednesday at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
