Police, neighbors scouring streets for missing New City woman

Police and neighbors are still searching for a New City woman who was reported missing yesterday. Authorities say Denise Gruffi, 57, was last seen by her husband at their Ann Street home at around 7 a.m. He was informed that she never arrived at Link Elementary School, where she works as a teacher's aide. Flyers showing Gruffi's face and family contact information have been posted on telephone poles throughout the area. Police say they believe she is on foot after they found her car yesterday. Her husband also says he noticed a note suggesting she may harm herself, as well as missing medication.Police locate car of missing New City woman
