Police criticized in Saxon Woods sex case
The Westchester County Police Department is being criticized for releasing the names and pictures of 16 men allegedly caught looking for sex in Saxon Woods Park in White Plains.
Last week, county police publicized the names, hometowns and photos of the men as a deterrent.
However, 11 of them had already pleaded guilty to lesser charges and had their cases sealed by a judge.
A police spokesman now says the department was not properly notified the cases were sealed, and he says the county officers even called to double check but were given incorrect information.'Operation Overexposure' tries to clean-up Saxon Woods16 men arrested, accused of illegal sexual activity at Saxon Woods
