Custody battle might have caused Cross River tragedy

New allegations have come to light that Sam Friedlander could have been just days away from possibly losing the custody of his children when he murdered his family.

Friedlander and his wife, Amy, were going through a rough divorce, and Amy was also trying to evict her husband from their home.

Amy Friedlander was attempting to gain sole custody over their children and the court date was set for just a couple of days after Sam Friedlander beat his wife to death and gunned down their two young kids.

Sam Friedlander had a history of emotional abuse, says Amy Friedlander?s father, Gary Perez.

Funeral services for Amy Friedlander and the children are being held tomorrow in Pennsylvania. Sam Friedlander?s body is still in the morgue because no one has claimed it yet.
