Domestic violence protesters angry about 'victim blaming'

Citizens concerned about domestic violence rallied Monday afternoon at the Westchester County Courthouse in White Plains and voiced their concerns over "victim blaming."

Dozens of people expressed their outrage over events surrounding the recent Friedlander family murder-suicide in Cross River. The group is incensed over reports in which friends of Sam Friedlander say he was subjected to years of abuse from his wife Amy.

The protesters are encouraging any victims of domestic abuse to break their silence and come forward and seek help.
