Hudson Valley walloped by early snowstorm

An early nor'easter made its presence felt across much of the Hudson Valley Saturday.

Utility representatives said the storm caused tens of thousands of power outages across the region.

The storm also caused damage to numerous trees, leaving large branches scattered across roadways and closing numerous roads.

Mass transit was also affected with Metro-North officials saying service will likely not be restored on some lines until sometime on Sunday.
