New Rochelle businesses struggle to recover from Irene

About a half-dozen small business owners in New Rochelle say they're struggling to recover following Irene and aren't getting the help they need.

According to the Main Street renters, their new landlord, ABS Partners Real Estate, told them they had to make their own storm-related repairs.

ABS Partners released a statement to News 12 saying, "We as landlords are doing everything we can to recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Irene as quickly as possible, while ensuring the safety of our tenants and the integrity of the building."

The owners say they're still hoping the company will step up and help take care of the building, otherwise they may have no choice except to go to court.
