Elmsford residents not sold on FEMA aid

Westchester residents and business owners can now apply for disaster relief, but many Elmsford residents say they think it's a waste of their time.

Some of those local business owners say they still haven't heard from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) about recouping their losses from earlier storms, including Hurricane Floyd in 1999.

However, officials are still encouraging all hurricane victims to apply for help. They can do so over the phone or online.
