Bronxville schools open
Bronxville schools are open today after flooding delayed the start of the new session.
The first day of school was delayed by one day as crews needed to clean up after Irene.
Schools open this morning at 10 a.m. for students in grades 1 through 12. Kindergarten is expected to open Sept. 19.
Bronxville schools suffered an estimated $5 million dollars in damage from massive flooding caused by Irene.
