Yonkers apartment complex flooded again

A Yonkers apartment complex has once again been hit with extensive flooding after last night's heavy rain. Yonkers firefighters have been on the scene of the complex on Palmer Road since 7 a.m. trying to get control of nearly 2 feet of water.Firefighters have been pumping thousands of gallons of water, hoping they can prevent it from traveling to the building's electrical supply and boiler room. This is the third time in 10 days that residents have watched the Sprain Brook rush into their neighborhood.Fire officials say the good news is that the rain has tapered off and they are hoping that the worst is now over.
