Saw Mill River overflows its banks

The Saw Mill River has once again overflowed its banks and low-lying areas such as the Village of Elmsford are experiencing severe flooding.

The parking lots of many businesses along Route 9A have been completely submerged. Traffic on most of the village's streets are heavily congested.

Officials have announced that the Village Court and Court Clerk's Office will be closed until Sept. 12.
