Yonkers police up their patrol at train station

Officials have increased police patrols in and around the Yonkers train station ahead of the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks and in light of recent news of a 'credible' threat against New York City.

Yonkers, on the border of New York City, is concerned that the terror threat announced last night, will affect them as well.

Information came out that al-Qaida was planning a 'credible, but unconfirmed' attack on the U.S. around the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, using car bombs on bridges and tunnels around New York City or Washington, D.C.
