Elementary school kids honor those lost on 9/11

Students from the Khalil Gibran Elementary School took time out of their day to honor those who lost their lives during the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The kids, some who weren't even born during the time of the attacks, displayed American flags and learned what happened that day and what it means to be a hero.

They also sang patriotic songs and learned about the men and women of the Yonkers police and emergency workers who serve New York City every day.
