County police officer arrested in alleged drug smuggling ring
Federal officials say they have arrested 20 people, including a Westchester County police officer, and three Transportation Safety Administration agents in a prescription drug smuggling ring that ran from Florida to New York and Connecticut.
Westchester County police officer Michael Brady was arrested for allegedly helping a drug smuggler get oxycodone pills through the Westchester County Airport, according to investigators.
Officials say Brady raked in $20,000 for his role in the ring.
Police say a Yonkers and Mount Kisco man were also arrested in the drug ring.
Officials say Brady has been suspended from the police department without pay.
