IN bar cited in connection with Edgemont student's disappearance
As the search for missing college student Lauren Spierer continues, Indiana State Excise Police cited the bar she was allegedly drinking at in connection with her disappearance.
The Indiana University student was last seen June 3 after a night spent partying with friends. Massive search efforts across Indiana have yielded no trace of the Edgemont native.
Investigators say the 20-year-old used a fake ID to get into Kilroy's Sports Bar the night she disappeared. Authorities say there were discrepancies on the ID Spierer used to enter the bar.
They say Spierer was last seen walking out of the bar at 2:27 a.m. with her friend Corey Rossman. Those last seen with Spierer, including Rossman, are not talking and have hired high-profile attorneys.
Spierer's hometown synagogue in Scarsdale has planned a fundraiser this weekend to raise money to help find her. The walk/bike fundraiser is scheduled for Sept. 16 at 11:15 a.m.
