Mount Vernon man facing murder trial for 4th time

A Mount Vernon man went on trial for the fourth time today in the murders of an Eastchester man and his caretaker.

Selwyn Days, 45, is accused of the double murder in Eastchester almost 15 years ago. Days allegedly beat millionaire Archie Harris with his fists and a baseball bat, and then stabbed him 22 times in Nov. 1996. Harris' home health care aide, Betty Ramsharan, was also found dead inside the Berkeley Circle home.
