Mystery patient identified

After doctors and officials released the photo of the man who doesn't know who he is, calls began pouring in from people who say they knew who he is. Police aren't releasing his name or what might be wrong with him due to patient confidentiality.

The man boarded a train in the Marble Hill section of the Bronx but didn't have a ticket and could not communicate with the conductor when asked to pay the fare. The conductor called the police, who met the train at the Croton station.

According to MTA officials, the man did not have a wallet or ID and spoke very little English, but he did speak Spanish and gave them two different names.

Doctors say thanks to the media, it took less than 24 hours to figure out the identity of the man. Family members are on their way from the Bronx to pick him up and take him home.
