Pataki endorses fellow GOP, watches presidential race

Former Gov. George Pataki has endorsed fellow Republican Carmen Gomez Goldberg for the Westchester County Board. Goldberg was thankful for the endorsement and said that Pataki had taught her how to bridge people together and how to work for people beyond party lines.

Just a month ago, though, many believed that Pataki had campaign dreams of his own that ended not in Westchester but the White House. Word was released that he was not running and now Pataki spends his time keeping an eye on the race for president.

Pataki has not yet chosen which of the Republican candidates he will side with come the primaries.
