Housing Authority's job training a success

A luncheon was held on Wednesday to honor those who have completed iTEP or The Intensive Transitional Employment Program offered by the Yonkers Municipal Housing Authority and the non-profit Westhab, which helps with job placement.

The program is 15 weeks long and teaches Housing Authority residents the skills to find a permanent job.

The is the first year the Housing Authority held the program. Out of this year's eight graduates, four have been placed in full time jobs and two others are going on to college.
