Bronx man gets 35 years in deaths of Yonkers couple

A Bronx man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison after he admitted to killing a Yonkers couple during a botched drug robbery. Officials say Clemente Gomez, 33, and another suspect went to an apartment on Van Courtlandt Park Avenue back in January 2010, hoping to rob a crack dealer. They wound up killing Tyrone Green and his girlfriend, Shaquila Roman. Police say Green was a small-time crack dealer who had served time in prison with the suspects.Bronx man pleads guilty to murder of Yonkers couple$5K reward offered for info in Yonkers double murderSuspect in deadly robbery to appear in court Thursday
