Cleanup under way after last night's storm

A fast-moving storm rolled through parts of the Hudson Valley yesterday afternoon, leaving a path of semi-destruction in its wake.

At the height of the storm, about 5,000 customers were without power. In Highland Falls, trees fell onto power lines leaving dozens there in the dark.

Crews have been working through the night restoring service to the area. They're warning residents to stay away from downed wires, as they may still be live.

There are still a few dozen people without power in Orange and Rockland counties.Orange and Rockland Utilities
