Lewisboro town supervisor arrested on suspicion of DWI

Lewisboro Town Supervisor Charles Duffy (R) was arrested Friday night on suspicion of drunken driving.

Duffy was pulled over by a state trooper who said that he observed the town supervisor driving across a double-yellow line at around 10:45 p.m. on Route 123 near Kitchawan Road.

Officials say Duffy refused to take a Breathalyzer test.

Duffy was charged with misdemeanor DWI and is due in court Sept. 12.
