Peekskill city workers rally for contract

Peekskill Mayor Mary Foster met with union representatives for city workers last night following a public display of the workers? frustration with contract talks.

The union staged a rally to coincide with a planned City Council meeting yesterday. They claimed communication with the city had broken down.

Foster says the union?s concerns have been heard. According to Foster, the breakdown in communication was more about day-to-day operations than contract talks.
