Heavy winds, reported tornados rip through Westchester

Although the major roadways are reopened after Sunday's nasty storm, thousands of residents are still without power in their homes.

The storm pelted Westchester with heavy rains and winds and some even say a tornado. In Pleasantville, one community is trying to pick up the pieces after what they say was a tornado ripped through their town.

Earlier, part of the Saw Mill Parkway was shut down near the Chappaqua-Pleasantville border. In Putnam County, a tree smashed into two cars and part of a home in Mahopac.

According to Con Ed, there are still roughly 1,900 power outages. Officials say these residents should have their power restored by morning.
