Goodwill opens Donation Express store in Eastchester

Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey officially unveiled its first Donation Express store today in Eastchester.

Goodwill officials say the new drop-off location on Mill Road not only will provide a convenient way for Westchester residents to get rid of their unwanted items, but it also will serve as a training center that will be offering employment seminars and resume-writing workshops.

The new 1,200-square foot Donation Express will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., accepting clothing, shoes, electronics and other household items.

Officials at Goodwill Industries say the goal is to open four more Donation Express locations, as well as four more stores within the next six-eight months.
