Elmsford hit hard by Hurricane Irene

Residents on one street in Elmsford were dealing with record level flooding after Hurricane Irene roared through the area. As the hours pass, water levels are rising, leading to raft boat evacuations lead by emergency workers.

One residents described her house as a "pool" to News 12. Other residents say that they can't even see their mailboxes.

While officials are calling for evacuations, some residents say that they are staying, saying they've dealt with flooding plenty of times before.
