Spierer's parents to students: Keep searching for Lauren

With students returning to Indiana University, the parents of missing college student Lauren Spierer say they are doing all they can to keep the search for their daughter a campus priority. A letter and poster of Spierer, of Edgemont, has been published in the university's newspaper, and her mother is pleading with students and staff to have emergency contacts in their cell phones. Search efforts have been ongoing since Spierer's disappearance this past June, and her parents led another effort shortly before students returned. "We're hoping that somebody here, one of the students that comes back, will come to hear some information, be in possession of some information, that they can provide to us or the police," father Robert Spierer said. The Spierers and police say they still believe some of Lauren's friends who were with her the night she vanished know something about her disappearance.Missing student's parents hope for new clues as school startsSpierer family pleads for information on missing daughter
