Image problems have plagued Rye Playland before

The fight at Rye Playland yesterday that led to 15 arrests could prove to hurt the park's image and revenue.

Three years ago, major safety improvements were made to the park after three people died on rides over four summers. There has also been a heated debate over the future of the county-owned park and its cost to taxpayers.

But most of the people who spoke to News 12 today at Rye Playland say the fight - which was sparked when Muslim women were told they had to take off their head scarfs on some rides - won't keep them away. Playland riot breaks out over Muslim head coverings
