Downed power lines delay trains

Trains on Metro-North's New Haven line were delayed today after power lines came down at the Harrison train station.

The damaged wires created 10-15 minute delays for commuters heading to Grand Central Station this morning.

Northbound passengers also had to switch platforms for trains headed to Stamford.

The cause of the downed lines is not known at this time.

Workers were able to fix the problem, and all train service is now back to normal.
