Peacekeepers come to Yonkers after string of crimes

Members of the group, all wearing orange, marched from Nepperhan Community Center to Getty Square while handing out flyers inviting others to join their cause to promote peace.

The peacekeepers say those who join will go through a six-week program to learn how to form relationships with people in the community and let them know there is an alternative to violence.
